Job Description

Position:Truck Driver and Operator

Job Summary:Truck Driver and Operator is responsible for the safe loading transport and delivery of products while performing pre-operational crane inspections and maintenance. Ensures work areas remain clean and organized and consistently upholds all health and safety regulations. Supports additional operational tasks as needed.

Shift:Days between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm

Compensation: $29.50-31.50/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Safely load move and deliver product

• Perform pre-operational inspections maintenance checklists clean and lubricate the crane

• Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store yard and trucks

• Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules regulations and legislation

• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 3 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)

• Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ/DZ license and clean driving abstract (East)

• Load securement training (can be provided)

• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)

• First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)

• Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)

• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred

• Ability to lift push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly

• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
