CPOE Build Consultant

Position : COPE Build Consultant

Location : Remote

Duration : Months contract + Possible extension

Job Description :

• Strong understanding of CPOE / clinical workflows in acute care space, including but not limited to, general
• order entry, Mpages, quick orders, tasking / tasklists, care compass, clinical documentation.
• Strong understanding of or direct build experience with managing preferences and privileges related to
• provider / CPOE workflows.
• Strong leadership and architect skills with systems thinking of CPOE and Order Set build
• Expertise in order set build, orders, OEFs, tasking
• Understanding of flexing, codesets, rules
• Strong technical knowledge of system configuration at core level
• Ability to translate paper ordersetsinto build requirements document / DCW for PowerPlan build.
• Support new Nurse Informatics staff in translation of paper ordersets to DCWsfor PowerPlan build.
• Support new Nurse Informatics staff in PowerPlan functionality.
• Experience in building orders, order entry formats, tasking and all related aspects (mainly patient care, but
• understanding of lab, MI, pharmacy is also essential).
• Experienced in building all components and order catalog types within PowerPlans (patient care, laboratory,
• pharmacy, radiology / diagnostic, etc).
• Experience with building Day of Treatment PowerPlans.
• Experienced in use of knowledge compiler wizard for PowerPlan migrations between domains.
• RN or pharmacist by background required.
