As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. Job Overview : The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting clients with their financial inquiries, resolving account-related issues, and providing exceptional service through multiple communication channels. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining positive client relationships and ensuring that clients receive accurate, timely, and professional support for their financial needs. Key Responsibilities : Client Support : Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person, providing accurate information regarding accounts, transactions, and financial services. Account Management : Assist clients with account openings, modifications, and closures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and firm policies. Problem Resolution : Address and resolve any issues or concerns clients may have regarding their accounts, transactions, or services, escalating complex matters to senior team members as necessary. Product Knowledge : Maintain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s financial products, services, and policies to provide informed assistance to clients. Document Processing : Accurately process client transactions, forms, and documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Client Education : Educate clients about account features, financial planning options, and available services to empower them to make informed decisions. Record Keeping : Update client records and track interactions in the firm’s CRM system to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information. Team Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including financial advisors and back-office departments, to ensure seamless client service and issue resolution. Compliance & Security : Adhere to all regulatory requirements and the firm’s security protocols, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information. Client Retention : Assist in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by fostering positive relationships and providing exceptional service. Qualifications : Education : High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus. Experience : 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services environment. Skills & Abilities : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and account information. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency with customer service software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations. Understanding of basic financial products and services (e.g., savings accounts, investment products, insurance). Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA). Previous experience working in a financial services or banking environment. Basic understanding of investment products, retirement plans, or wealth management services.
