Overview

Personal Support Worker - Pediatric Home Care role at WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care . This position focuses on delivering in-home pediatric care, creating a safe, nurturing environment for the child and family, and supporting the child’s well-being in accordance with the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Enteral feed support
• Maintain child records and required documentation
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in the child’s condition to guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of the child’s needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child / parent / guardian
• Respond to concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents
• Complete all other tasks as assigned
