About the position :

The General Manager, FloChem, is responsible for leading all aspects of the division’s operations and financial performance. This role oversees the full P&L, drives strategic growth initiatives, ensures operational excellence, and fosters strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. The position requires a dynamic leader who can balance business objectives with safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do :

Provide a safe and healthy work environment by implementing EHS standards and improvements.

Full P&L accountability for FloChem, including revenue, contribution margin, and EBITDA.

Manage balance sheet performance through working capital targets.

Collaborate on CAPEX allocation and prioritization.

Execute sales strategies and growth initiatives; build and maintain key customer and supplier relationships.

Support sales team development through impactful territory plans and performance leadership.

Leverage CRM and sales effectiveness tools to optimize growth and operational performance.

Monitor headcount, expenditures, asset utilization, and inventory to meet financial objectives.

Ensure effective management of functional areas : Supply Chain, Product Management, Operations, Industry Management, and Customer Service.

Track KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve operational goals.

Lead and develop a team of approximately 40 employees, including plant operations.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in commercial or operational leadership.

Proven track record of managing P&L and driving business growth.

Strong understanding of chemical distribution operations and industry regulations.

Proficiency with technology tools (CRM systems, sales effectiveness programs).

Ability to travel up to 25% and manage complex operational challenges.

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing large teams.

Pay and Benefits :

The annual expected salary range for this position is $160,000 to 225,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
