Manufacturing Specialist - Controls

Overview

Responsibilities

• FIS Monitoring : Analyze automation cycle times and manage project installations using Factory Information Systems software.
• Technical Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex PLC, robotics, and automation system malfunctions.
• Backup Management : Maintain and update secure program backups for all automation equipment.
• System Programming : Develop and implement programming for new machining, gantry, and conveyor installations.
• Process Optimization : Reprogram automation systems to support engineering changes and continuous improvements.
• Campaign Coordination : Lead and organize automation-specific maintenance and upgrade initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements :

Education : College Diploma or Skilled-Trade Certificate of Qualification (CoQ). (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of completion for the highest level of education attained. If the diploma / degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

Compensation and Inclusion

The expected annual salary range for this position is $74,000 - $124,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
