Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendant for our Smiths Falls ON Location

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility nursing home or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

Your Profile

You must possess the following qualifications:

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (please note we provide training for First Responder if needed)
• You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note we provide BLS training if needed)
• You possess a valid G class driving license.
• You have the ability to lift 250 lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR DPT Polio Varicella Hepatitis B COVID-19 (2 doses) TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
• You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts
• You have night and weekend availability if requested.
