In a fast-growing manufacturing environment, we are seeking a Project Manager recognized for strong technical expertise and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from the initial analysis phase through first production, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams, customers, and technical partners. Your expertise will play a key role in decision-making, anticipating challenges, and supporting the operational excellence of the PMO.
An overview of your new position
- Perform technical and capacity analyses for assigned projects
- Coordinate the full New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from concept through first production
- Plan and oversee pilot runs, line trials, and technical validations in collaboration with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Production teams
- Create and maintain project tracking tools in Smartsheet, including timelines and critical paths
- Coordinate technical resources such as components, raw materials, equipment, and tooling
- Prepare quotes, tooling authorizations, line trial documentation, and all required project documentation
- Lead project status meetings with internal stakeholders and customers
- Manage phase-out transitions, new artwork, formulations, and line extensions
- Prepare monthly presentations of active projects, including risks, timelines, and key milestones for S&OP
- Work closely with Finance, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams on approvals and cost tracking
- Act as a technical and methodological reference for NPI project management within the organization
You are the ideal candidate if you have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (industrial, mechanical, chemical, or related discipline) strongly preferred, or relevant technical training combined with significant experienceMinimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in technical project management, ideally in a manufacturing or NPI environmentStrong understanding of technical requirements, feasibility, and production capacityAbility to demonstrate influence-based leadership with a high level of autonomy in a matrix environmentProficiency in project planning tools (Microsoft Project or equivalent)Knowledge of FDA GMP and OSHA standards (an asset)Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills in both French and English, written and spokenWhat we have to offer you
