Responsibilities :

  • Business Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and objectives. Analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities and define requirements for solutions.
  • Technical Specification Development : Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications that guide the development of software applications, systems, or processes. Ensure that these specifications meet both the business needs and technical standards.
  • Solution Design and Recommendation : Work with Digital and software development teams to design solutions that fulfil business requirements. Evaluate potential technical solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and constraints. Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather feedback and consensus.
  • Project Management Support : Assist in project management tasks, such as planning, scheduling, and tracking progress. Ensure that projects stay on track to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance : Participate in the testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and standards. Assist in identifying and documenting bugs or issues for resolution.
  • Training and Support : Develop training materials and provide support to users on new systems or applications. Ensure that end-users are equipped to use the new solutions effectively.
  • Documentation : Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, technical specifications, project plans, and reports to ensure knowledge is captured and shared.

Requirements

Qualifications : Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration in Finance
  • 7+ Years of experience of any SAP Planning Applications such as SAP-BPS, IP, BPC including SAC-Planning area with a proven record of accomplishment as a team lead of large and complex SAP business-system transformation programs.
  • Good Accounting knowledge would be a plus.
  • Relevant experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a related area, demonstrating a track record of bridging business needs with technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business issues and develop appropriate technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of information technology, software development life cycles, and architectural frameworks. Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development tools is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders, including business users, Digital professionals, and management.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology, principles and practices.
  • Precision in documenting requirements, specifications, and project details to ensure clarity and alignment with objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, technologies, and project priorities.
  • Preferred

  • Minimum 3 to 4 Years of experience in SAC-Planning applications Design, Development and Support.
  • Collaborate with finance, R&D, and commercial teams to identify critical financial planning requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., clinical trial budgeting, product lifecycle profitability, R&D spend analysis).
  • Design and build sophisticated SAC models, stories, dashboards, and applications to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic reporting needs.
  • Develop data connections, transformations, and calculations within SAC to integrate data from SAP BPC, S / 4HANA, clinical trial management systems (CTMS), and other relevant sources.
  • Able to configure and test all support related queries in all the SAC, BPC planning.
  • Major large, complex high-end SAP implementations; experience in multi-country implementations.
  • Broad and deep application and technical knowledge including latest innovations required in BPC and SAC Planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAC-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring system stability and optimal user experience.
  • Manage SAC user roles, access, and security configurations, aligning them with pharmaceutical industry compliance standards.
  • Good understanding of Planning Process of Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • SAC Integration with BPC, S4 and BW4
  • Knowledge of group reporting would be a plus
  • Hybrid Planning Scenario with Integration with BPC 11.0 Standard Application
  • SAC Planning Data modelling with SAC Dashboard reporting
  • Good knowledge of Integrated / collaborative Financials Planning in SAC
  • Allocations, VDT (Value Driver Tress), Planning Calendar functionalities
  • Propose and implement Predictive Scenarios where necessary
  • Ability to design and debug the Data Actions
  • Propose Performance Optimization and provide best practices on Data retention and Archive process based on Business needs
  • Harness the full potential of SAC's predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities for pharmaceutical-specific forecasting and scenario modelling.
  • Design dynamic, visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into key financial performance metrics
  • Administration systems – Service Now, SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM & TOSCA
  • Application integration technologies SAP PO, CPI, External gateway systems
  • Ability to work in highly matrixed environments managing global teams comprised of employees and system integrators.
