Notre client, un groupe d’investissement privé reconnu, actif dans le développement immobilier, recherche un(e) Controleur(euse) financièr(e). Ce poste consiste à piloter l’ensemble des activités financières et à assurer une supervision rigoureuse dans divers secteurs tels que la construction, la gestion immobilière et le financement. La fonction implique une collaboration étroite avec différentes équipes et partenaires externes.
What You'll Do
- Direct financial strategy and planning for several business units.
- Guarantee that all year-end financial documentation is meticulously completed and ready for tax submission; some entities require independent handling.
- Prepare and submit annual reports for smaller divisions when necessary.
- Oversee liquidity management, including forecasting, account reviews, and payment cycles.
- Supervise staff responsible for receivables and payables, offering expertise on complex accounting matters.
- Deliver financial analysis and reporting, particularly for development and property portfolios.
- Administer budgets and financial tracking for major construction initiatives.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of banking activities.
- Manage tax filings and coordinate payroll processing using Ceridian.
- Oversee intercompany financial arrangements, including loans and advances.
- Monitor outstanding loans, repayments, renewals, and future projections.
- Compile financial statements for planning and performance evaluation.
- Ensure daily accounting operations are accurate across all entities.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or incorrect entries, supporting team development.
- Visit other company locations periodically.
- Safeguard data integrity, manage backups, and enforce password protocols.
- Foster constructive relationships with stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with utmost care.
- Take part in meetings focused on operations, planning, and finance.
What You Need To Succeed
CPA designation with 5–7 years in financial oversight and accounting.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Strong familiarity with software accounting tools.Proficiency in both French and English.Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Attentive to detail, proactive, and dedicated to maintaining financial precision.Deep understanding of accounting principles, including complex transactions (e.g., asset transfers, loan restructuring).This is a full-time, on-site position.Seniority level
