The Role
Our client is a professional services organization operating in the insurance and benefits space, and they are currently seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join their Calgary office. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting one dedicated Advisor in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being the operational backbone of a busy desk, managing details, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring client deliverables are accurate, polished, and on time. The focus is administrative and client service support, similar to an Executive Assistant–style role, rather than accounting.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities
Provide full back-office administrative support to a dedicated AdvisorAct as a liaison between Advisors and insurance carriersCommunicate directly with carrier sales and service teams to clarify information, resolve issues, and manage group inquiriesAnalyze claims experience and carrier data to support renewal strategies and recommendationsCompare carrier proposals and assist in identifying optimal benefit solutions for clientsPrepare, populate, and finalize client-ready reports, including :Requests to Quote (RTQs)Marketing reportsService reportsEnsure all documentation and reports are accurate, professional, and delivered on timeMaintain and update records in HubSpot and DropboxAttend monthly team meetings and occasional company or industry eventsProvide general administrative and service support as requiredRequirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or executive support roleComfortable supporting a high-volume desk in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyClient-service driven, self-motivated, and dependableAbility to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with Office 365, Gmail, Dropbox, and HubSpot or similar CRM systemsKnowledge of group employee benefits principles and terminology is a strong asset#INDSTRIVEON
