Rogers is seeking a Senior Developer for our Customer Service Management (CSM) application team. Reporting to a Sr. Development Manager at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, this individual will join a development team whose focus is enhancing the back end of our CSM applications.
This work involves a combination of Agile and SDLC methodologies writing in C, Pro
- C, Java, C++, Oracle Tuxedo, Oracle, SQL, PL / SQL, Shell scripts. The successful candidate will be responsible for solution design, development, unit and integration testing of the system.
What you'll be doing :
Develop and maintain applications using C, ProC, Java and Oracle TuxedoDesign and implement solutions to facilitate communication between distributed systems.Optimize and troubleshoot Tuxedo services and batch process for performance and reliability.Integrate Java-based applications with Oracle Tuxedo for seamless transaction processing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.Enhance existing systems by implementing new features and resolving defects.Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications , release notes and code reviews.Ensure security and compliance standards are met for all software components.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure system stabilityProvide application and user support, troubleshooting, post-implementation review of new / hanged applications.What you bring :
Strong experience in C, ProC, Oracle Tuxedo and Java development.Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PL / SQL, MySQLStrong Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.Hands-on experience with distributed transaction processing.Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP-based Web Services.Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration patterns.Understanding of messaging protocols (JMS, MQ)Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Hands-on experience with Git / GitHub, SonarQube, DynatraceStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications :
