Welder, 2nd Year Apprentice

Are you an Apprentice Welder looking to advance your skills? SMS Equipment is seeking a Welder, Apprentice 2nd Year working toward their Journeyperson certification. In this role, you’ll support repairs and fabrications across a wide range of equipment and work hands-on with industry-leading machines alongside a team that knows quality matters.

Base Wage : $36.62 - $39.23 per hour. Additional premiums apply.

Location : Kamloops, BC

Shift Rotation : 7x7

What You’ll Do

• Performing repairs and fabrications on various makes and models of equipment.
• Working from layouts, blueprints, and work orders.
• Customizing mobile equipment or components based on customer needs.
• Supporting failure analysis and welding repair strategies alongside the Service Manager.
• Delivering safe, effective welding services in a fast-paced environment.
