Job Description

North West Group is a leading geomatics firm that specializes in aerial acquisition and processing. We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team for an 8-month term internship placement. The ideal candidate would be flexible in their work schedule, be able to work efficiently within a team, have excellent communication skills and is highly organized. Attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines are required.

Main duties include :

• Adhere to established quality assurance / quality control processes for incoming raw image data from field; ensure imagery meets project quality specifications
• Preparation and quality control of orthorectification DEM
• Preparation of data for aerotriangulation
• Creation and quality assurance of ortho-rectified imagery
• Creation and quality assurance of photogrammetrically derived points clouds
• Assisting in product deliverables to clients
