About The Role
Join a team where your work truly matters. We\'re seeking a talented and an experienced Information Analyst who conceptualizes, designs, develops, and enhances present and anticipated program needs through custom reporting. This position will also be responsible for report generation, advanced querying techniques, providing data extractions, and reporting solutions for applications.
What You’ll Do
- Extract reports from a variety of systems and from the integration of those systems
- Liaise with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the Data Warehouse and Data Quality Administrators to build solutions within the corporate architecture framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for various existing production reporting / data solutions and assist with planning and technology changes or upgrades in a complex integrated environment
What You’ll Bring To The Team
Diploma in computer science, health informatics, or a related disciplineA minimum of 2 years working experience with analytics and reporting in a complex work environmentTechnical knowledge of database concepts, theories, and data integration using various computer platformsStrong computer programming skills and demonstrated proven experience on report creation and data extractionExperience creating an analytic dashboard using a variety of visualizations (e.g. Power BI, MicroStrategy)Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office packageExceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, technology driven environmentProven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, data analysis, documentation standardsKnowledge of the health environment and of data quality improvement techniques would be an additional assetThorough understanding of change management protocols and quality control are also requiredCompetencies
Problem Solving skills to extract, recall, synthesize, conceptualize, and apply ideas, processes, and information to create creative and innovative new solutionsIdentify, analyze and work with key stakeholders to solve data quality issues in your solutionsTechnical knowledge of database concepts, theories, and data integration using various computer platforms (including SQL query writing)You have strong computer programming / scripting skills and demonstrated proven experience on report creation and data extractionYou have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office packageYou have experience creating an analytic dashboard using a variety of visualizations (Power BI, MicroStrategy)Team / Independence ability to build positive work relationshipsWork independently and participate as a team member to meet the needs of customers, partners and co-workersOrganizational ability to independently prioritize and organize your own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environmentAnalytical ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on data, processes and methodologies, information technology and potential systems design to make feasible recommendationsThorough understanding of change management protocols and quality control are also requiredCommunication skills to communicate verbally or in writing and thrive in a dynamic, technology driven environmentYou have proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, data analysis, documentation standardsWhy You\'ll Love Working Here
