Position Overview

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Program Director, the incumbent

Performs a variety of clerical tasks and acts as a communication link for the unit.
Performs a variety of tasks for the care and comfort of patients as well as routine tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the area.

Experience

1-2 years recent relevant experience as a Unit Clerk required.

Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)

Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.

Successful completion of Unit Clerk certificate from a recognized course required.

Successful completion of Health Care Aide certificate from a recognized course required.

Consideration will be given to candidates who : Have successfully completed the Anatomy / Medical Terminology and Office Practice course or other recognized related combined courses.
