The Opportunity Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant : In addition to supporting a growing organization, our emerging and talented HR team is also in build mode meaning that the successful candidate will have the unique and exciting opportunity to partner, influence and provide expertise in shaping Strategic Talent Acquisition within the organization.
Reporting to the Director of HRBPs and Talent Acquisition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will lead the talent acquisition function for eHealth Saskatchewan and will partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement best-in-class strategies in talent acquisition.
The individual will design and implement recruiting programs and strategic initiatives to attract top talent in Saskatchewan.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will also lead, coach and mentor a team of talented TA specialists. How will you do this?
The ideal candidate thrives and drives a strategic approach to talent acquisition and has experience in building and developing a talent acquisition team.
This is a hands-on consulting role focused on talent acquisition strategy development and delivery of talent acquisition partnerships and support in more modern ways that enable the growth of the organization while attracting top talent to eHealth.
- Through influencing and relationship building develop and maintain professional relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external customers, employment contacts, and health partners
- Communication is key you will need to be an excellent communicator to share complex ideas and concepts in an effective way.
This includes active listening, clear and concise writing, and public speaking.
- Be strategic and creative Develop and implement recruiting strategies in partnership with the Director, Organizational Development and the HR Business Partner team.
- Develop strategies aligned with promoting more diverse talent pools and tapping into local and community partnerships.
- Work with the TA team and HR Business Partners to establish seasonal forecasting hiring targets, build go to market strategies including : community engagements, external non-for-profit partnerships, career / job fair events, and targeted job ad campaigns
- Provide creative thinking on innovative approaches to recruiting and sourcing. Plan sourcing strategies (including strategies for challenging roles and locations), proactively create talent pools, and effectively source candidates, especially in key areas like Digital Services and Health Registries.
- Leverage technology and tools to optimize talent attraction strategies and the eHealth employment brand. Research new products and technologies, conduct ongoing analyses of current systems, and implement improvements in recruiting operations as appropriate.
- Change management you are skilled at identifying the changes that will impact our people and how to implement change strategies that are effective.
- Data analysis and interpretation leverage data-driven insights to continuously enhance recruitment performance and create and streamline processes.
- Staying two steps ahead - taking a project management and planned approach to tackling some of the bigger initiatives and priorities is essential.
- Leadership - coach, mentor, develop and lead the Talent Acquisition team to develop talent attraction as a strategic function for eHealth Saskatchewan.
Typically, the Ideal Candidate would have :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience required.
- Extensive Talent Acquisition strategy experience including significant change management.
- Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and regulations related to employment
- Advanced proficiency of full-cycle recruiting with strong decision-making skills.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize work according to organizational goals.
- Must be flexible in managing constantly changing priorities and dealing comfortably with ambiguity.
- Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines, pay attention to details, and execute projects to desired outcomes.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Must have adept interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products including : Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, etc.
