Compensation: $23.75 to $27.50 hourly

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the accounting and finance departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Your responsibilities in this role

- Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets

- Assist with administrative duties as necessary

- Assist Accounting team with creating and editing financial documents

- Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds

- Collaborate with clients via phone and email as necessary

- Own the bookkeeping processes of the company

- Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account

Job Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications

- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred

- Bookkeeping experience required

- High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
