Accounts Payable Clerk

Position: Accounts Payable ClerkLocation: Markham, hybrid Salary: $25 an hour Job Type: Temporary, 3-month contract We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounts Payable Clerk to support our client's day-to-day financial operations located in Markham. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities:- Process incoming invoices in the Accounts Payable system- Verify invoices against purchase orders and budgets- Follow automated approval workflows and coordinate with the procurement team - Communicate effectively with internal project managers via email - Assist with cheque preparation and mailing - Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all AP processesRequirements:- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting function- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new invoicing systems quickly- Basic tax knowledge, including GST, HST, and PST coding- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Strong written and verbal communication abilities- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsPlease send your resume in Word format to sarah.villarroel@quantum.ca.REFER AND EARN A $50 GIFT CARD!
