Finance Administrator

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will manage day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations. You will assist in payroll, financial report preparation, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting.
The ideal candidate is organized, has strong time‑management skills, is detail‑oriented, works well in a team, and is a self‑motivated professional who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day‑to‑day financial transaction postings to support performance tracking and decision‑making.
- Post supplier invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Track Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Process corporate credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger postings.
- Reconcile subledger and GL accounts, prepare bank reconciliations, and manage accrued liabilities.
- Assist in employee payroll preparation and payment.
- Prepare sales commission reports and payments.
- Assist in preparing financial, budget, and sales reports.
- Prepare government remittance forms for payroll, GST / PST, EHT, WSIB, and similar.
- Monitor foreign exchange rates.
- Track internal subscription renewals and payments.
- Assist with internal purchase request processing.
- Assist in preparing government funding program responses and claims.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures in accounting activities and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting operations.
- Handle other responsibilities and special projects as required.
Relationship Management
Assist in financial analysis for sales opportunities and prepare DLS quotes for clients.Support the Sales Operations on bids preparation and submission.Prepare and submit supplier purchase orders to vendors and distributors.Prepare and submit client invoices and maintain strong relationships with client A / P representatives.Contribute and maintain database information for opportunity renewals and closing sales in CRM.Additional tasks or responsibilities may be assigned at the sole discretion of the employer.Requirements
Bachelor(s) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized college or university.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and government regulations governing business accounting and taxation.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and multitask effectively.Proficient problem‑solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong teamwork orientation.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) with advanced Excel skills.Assets
Prior academic or internship experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in small to medium‑sized businesses.Experience with Sage 50, Sage Intacct, or Oracle NetSuite.Familiarity with Power BI and Tableau.Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate.Position Highlights
