Eligible to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Northern Health Region, Manitoba. You will provide comprehensive nursing care in a residential setting, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and effective treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative personal and comfort care.
- Deliver safety and health education to patients and their families.
- Provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice, based on patient assessment and care‑planning procedures.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications & Experience
Education : College / CEGEP in Nursing or a related program.Experience : Prior nursing experience is an asset.Certifications : Intravenous (IV) therapy, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).Eligible for licensure as a Practical Nurse in the province / territory of work.Work Conditions
Permanent term; 38.75 hours per week.English required.Fast‑paced environment; work under pressure; physically demanding; manual dexterity required.Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; large caseload.Location & Relocation
