Position Summary

The Recruitment Assistant is a member of the Employee Services team responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition team through year-round & Stampede time full cycle recruitment initiatives and projects. This is a busy and fast paced position with multiple areas of focus. The Recruitment Assistant will gain experience in the HR field providing recruitment support.

Please note : This is a Seasonal term ending in August 2026.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

• Participate in end to end recruitment process, including reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews, conducting reference checks, and inputting employee data into the HRIS system.
• Provide assistance during large scale interview and selection events
• Assist new employees with instruction and documentation surrounding new hire paperwork completion, system access and employment information
• Collaborate with organizational departments to investigate and resolve recruitment queries from employees and management.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as : create and maintain spreadsheets, schedules , creating and sending offer letters,
• Support HR reception and administration team as needed
• Provide assistance in other HR areas as required
