Overview
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal software and hardware engineering teams to address customer issues, enhance product quality, and contribute to feature development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements to understand their specific needs.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and demonstrate solutions to support customer success.
- Develop and maintain software applications using C and C++ to showcase the capabilities of the Matrox development platform.
- Lead client training workshops and deliver technical presentations to educate and support OEMs.
- Represent the company at trade shows and visit OEM sites to gain firsthand insights into customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.3 to 5 years of programming experience in C and C++ for Windows and / or Linux environments.Strong knowledge of networking, IT, and cloud computing is highly desirable.Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a significant advantage.Experience with video, audio, and GPU processing is an asset.Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues concisely and clearly.Self-motivated, proactive, and creative in solving problems.Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.Please submit a cover with your resumé.
