With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.Garden Valley School Division is committed to excellence in education, fostering a culture of trust and belonging among students and staff. The division offers a variety of programs in academics, fine arts, athletics, and technology, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.Prior experience as a Resource Teacher is considered an asset. Experience in programming for EAL populations in an asset.The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member.Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check. The above represents general core qualifications for the position and may vary as necessary to the operations of the school/program. SCHOOL INFORMATION:Emerado Centennial School is a grades 4 to 8 middle school, located in the southern subdivision of the City of Winkler. Emerado Centennial School has a student population of 400 students, 26 professional staff members, and 25 support staff members.Emerado Centennial School implements Garden Valley School Division's middle year's educational philosophy, providing its students with exploratory learning opportunities within a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.
