Program for Active Living Coordinator (Kinesiologist), LTC, Full-Time

The Village of Ridgeview Courthas an exciting opportunity for a Program for Active Living Coordinator to join their team.

Status: Permanent Full-Time
Location: 545 Dymott Ave Milton ON L9E 2C9

The expected hiring range for this position is $44000 to $48000 for Non-Registered and $48000 to $52000 for Registered PAL Coordinator. This role falls within a broader internal salary band with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

To be successful as our new PAL Coordinator you will:

• Hold a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behaviour and exercise rehabilitation
• Demonstrate experiencedevelopingimplementing evaluating and modifyingphysical and/or cognitive exercise programs based on the needs of the residents
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
• Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the role

It would be an asset if our new PAL Coordinator has:

• Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Knowledge of relevant policies procedures legislation regulations and best practices a Experience and/or desire to provide educational sessions/ seminars
• Demonstratedexperience working with seniors and/or persons with cognitive or physical impairments
• Experience working in the retirement and long-term care sector (eg. School placement)
