Job Title : Mechanical Engineer - Robotics

Job Description

Join a dynamic engineering team dedicated to developing state-of-the-art robotics for space, nuclear, and medical applications. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and improve the stiffness, strength, and durability of our products. This role involves supporting manufacturing processes, conducting mechanical tests, and generating analytical reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop state-of-the-art robotics.
• Evaluate the stiffness, strength, and durability of the structure of robotic, nuclear, and medical products.
• Identify problem areas, propose design modifications or improvements, and approve mechanical designs.
• Support manufacturing processes and validate mechanical designs through mechanical tests.
• Generate analysis reports and create mechanical test plans and reports.
• Investigate problems and failures during development and testing phases.

Work Environment

Work in a cutting-edge environment focused on space robotics, with regular office hours of 40 hours per week. You will be required to work in the office at least three days a week, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM. The dress code is business casual, aiming to match or exceed the attire of our customers when meeting them. The work environment is collaborative and collegial, fostering teamwork and peer reviews.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00 / hr.
