Solution Architect - Azure, .Net & GCP

Location : Vaughan, ON (Hybrid – 3x Onsite a Week)

Base Pay Range : CA$120,000.00 / yr – CA$150,000.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across Azure and GCP environments.
• Lead the architecture for .NET-based applications, including microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Develop solution blueprints, architectural diagrams, and technology roadmaps.
• Ensure architectural decisions align with business requirements, compliance, and best practices.
• Drive cloud modernization initiatives, including app re-platforming, containerization, and migration strategies.
• Architect solutions using Azure services (App Services, AKS, Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB, AD, etc.) and GCP equivalents (GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, BigQuery, etc.).
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM / Bicep, or Deployment Manager.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership to engineering teams through the full SDLC.
• Review solution designs, code, and deployment pipelines to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to design CI / CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GCP Cloud Build.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for cloud architecture, security, and integration patterns.
• Work directly with clients and internal business teams to gather requirements and define scalable architectures.
• Present architecture options and recommendations in a clear and business‑friendly manner.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and technical pre‑sales activities.
