Ensure customer relations, more specifically : keep the customer informed of the project's progress in technical, financial, health & safety and quality terms, and advise him of any changes to the initial contract (cost overruns, riders, technical problems, etc.
- etc; Manage the customer contract, more specifically : understand the customer's objectives, the scope of the contract, the budget, the project schedule and resolve contentious issues as required, etc;
- Ensure that environmental, health and safety management is documented, implemented and applied to all project activities;
- Ensure quality management, more specifically : review and technically approve all deliverables, review and approve the selection of guidelines, standards, regulations and laws applicable to the project, apply internal requirements, etc;
- Ensure overall project follow-up, more specifically : support and provide feedback to the Project Manager in his role of project coordination and execution, establish a schedule as well as financial and health & safety objectives, etc;
- Ensure financial follow-up of the project, more specifically : approve client invoices and supply requisitions, keep track of project costs and revenues, etc;
- Participate in the development and estimation of complex bids. Qualifications To succeed as an Environmental Project Director, you must : Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in managing contaminated site characterization and remediation projects (civil engineering is an asset);
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary work teams; University degree in engineering, geology, environment or related field;
- Have an excellent knowledge of the MELCCFP Intervention Guide and current regulations; Other skills : Hold ASP construction certification;
- Excellent command of French (oral and written) and good command of English; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
