Job Title : Application support analyst
Experience Level : Level 3 (senior) : 5-7 years
Location : Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week
This position is for a Level3 support role with global responsibility.
Job Description :
The successful candidate will be involved in day-to-day handling of incidents, escalations, problem and change management. This includes application server administration, technical troubleshooting of infrastructure and user incidents, server and application deployments and task automation.
The role requires availability for weekend and on-call work on a rotation basis
Required skills :
- Min. 5 years of experience
- Experience in troubleshooting server and infrastructure applications.
- Strong UNIX / Linux knowledge including the ability to understand the interaction between applications, hardware, and operating system and to provide recommendations and suggestions related to troubleshooting and performance improvement.
- Strong system administration experience.
- Server and application deployments and task automation.
- Strong experience in Unix Shell.
- Knowledge and experience with either Perl or Python programming.
- Knowledge of HTTP, SQL, Databases
- Handling of escalations, change, incident and problem management.
Desired skills :
