You'll Do :

• Reporting directly to the Department supervisor, the successful candidate will be a part of our Production Department.
• Work in a variety of areas which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
• Handling and lifting materials
• Operate production equipment as assigned
• Assist other processing workers
• Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team
• Other general labourer responsibilities
• Repetitive tasks
• Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow safe work practices such as lock-out, pre-job hazard assessments, etc.
• Stand for extended periods
