Description de poste5–8 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing Strong general ledger expertise and understanding of how errors impact financial statements Problem solver with strong analytical and investigative skills Experience with ERP systems (Quantum or SAP is an asset) Advanced Excel skills Manufacturing background is a plus Strong business acumen — not just data analysis Bilingual in French and English preferred (functional French acceptable unless the candidate is exceptional) Salary : CA$130,000.00–CA$145,000.00
Assistant Controller
Fuze HR Solutions is recruiting an Assistant Controller for a fast‑growing organization in Montreal. The role reports to the Controller and focuses on improving financial processes, validating ERP data, and ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial information.
Key Focus of the Role
- Lead and support month‑end and year‑end close
- Dig into the ERP (Quantum) to identify discrepancies and validate data accuracy
- Cross‑reference financial information and correct errors in the general ledger
- Strengthen the quality and reliability of financial reporting
- Support the audit process and respond to audit inquiries
- Implement best practices to optimize accounting workflows
- Ensure alignment with financial policies and internal controls
- Provide insights to both the Montreal team and the New York head office
