Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Architect (Buildings) based in Lethbridge, AB. The Senior Architect will oversee and lead architectural design efforts, integrating creative design concepts with functionality. Responsibilities include managing projects from inception to completion, preparing design documentation, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires frequent collaboration with the principal architect, clients, consultants, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Architecture and managing architectural design teams for at least 20 years with a strong focus on innovative building design and functionality
• Ability to lead and manage development projects, backed by strong Project Management skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with clients and collaborate effectively with a diverse team
• Exceptional understanding and application of building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices
• Professional licensure as an architect in a Canadian jurisduction for the past 15 years minimum
