Data Scientist

Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist to join a leading aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. The Data Scientist will support and evolve a key enterprise initiative, with the opportunity to expand impact across additional business and AI initiatives. This role is hands-on, technical, and strongly embedded with the business. You will work on production-grade machine learning solutions, focusing on explainability, model robustness, performance optimization, and scalable delivery. This role is 5x week onsite in Longueuil, QC.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Science and Machine Learning

Experience with Python, Databricks, and AWS or similar

Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable models and insights

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

Prior experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment

Experience with explainability frameworks and model robustness techniques

Certifications (AWS, Databricks)

French is an asset

This is a 12-month contract to start and the pay rate is around $60 / hr.
