The college is seeking a part-time professor to teach a course within the Physical Education Department in the Winter 2026 semester.
109-101-MQ Physical Activity and Health
1 section : Friday 8-10 am
(2 hours of theory plus 2 hours of availability)
Physical activity and health is an introductory course that combines a variety of physical activities in order to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Stress management, motivational factors, designing an exercise program, healthy eating habits and nutrition are some of the topics that complement the weekly activities. Students are expected to participate to the best of their ability in a fun-filled environment. The following activities may be offered: Soccer, Ultimate, Volleyball, Hockey, Ringette, Basketball, Snowshoeing, Hiking, Cross country running, Weight training, Circuit training, Yoga, Badminton, Flexibility, and Relaxation, and others.
109-225-HR Mind/Body/Fitness
1 section : Tuesday 8-10 am
Students will experience a blend of activities such as yoga, meditation and stress management techniques. The course aims to increase flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular strength through a variety of workouts while developing awareness of mind and body.

ROLE SUMMARY
In a general way, the professor’s teaching load shall include preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes, labs and fieldwork; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request; participation in pedagogical days organized by the College; participation in departmental meetings and required activities. May also include departmental coordination; program committee coordination; special support and supervision activities; participation in program activities; program development; implementation and evaluation; and institutional development.
