Position Summary

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care based on feedback received during consultation or file review.

What You'll Do

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Follow Walmart's SOPs and execute processes accordingly.
• Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
• Protect patient privacy and comply with provincial regulations.
• Provide eligible services (medication reviews, injections) to meet patient needs.
• Maintain pharmacy hours as posted and assist in executing the business plan with the Pharmacy Manager.
