Within Sopra Steria's Aeroline division, you will join the global sales team as a Sales Account Manager in our Montreal office, reporting to the Managing Director. Aeroline is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria delivering cutting-edge solutions for the aerospace industry, dedicated to transforming the way aerospace companies operate through innovative digital solutions. Our cutting-edge technology and expertise enable us to deliver high-impact services that optimize operations, enhance safety, and drive efficiency in aerospace organizations worldwide.

Position Summary

As a Sales Account Manager with over 5 years of experience in the digital services industry, you will be a key player in establishing and growing our client base in Montreal and more widely in Canada and North America. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with aerospace clients, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

As part of our new subsidiary in North America, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our presence in this dynamic market.

Responsibilities

Account Management :

  • Portfolio Oversight : manage and oversee key accounts or develops a market segment, with leadership and influence on the customer, with the appropriate teams. Implements account and prospecting plans
  • Client Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Needs Assessment : Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements
  • Business Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base. Implement account and prospecting plans

Sales and Business Development :

  • Market Insights : Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements
  • Negotiation : Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Market Penetration : Promote our products and services effectively within the aerospace industry
  • Collaboration and Coordination :

  • Internal Teams : Collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and product teams to align strategies
  • Customer Visits : Facilitate customer visits to our sites and sales offices globally
  • Project Management : Coordinate marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Human resources : Participate in the recruitment, assignment and development of employees as needed
  • Financial Acumen :

  • Cost Analysis : Analyze costs and pricing for customer projects
  • Contract Management : Track and update customer contracts
  • Expense Control : Maintain and control project expenses
  • Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English mandatory
  • 5+ years of experience in selling / promoting to major clients in the industry of IT / Cloud
  • Prior experience working with customers in aerospace industry in a digital service company is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Availability for travel, including international
  • Relationship Builder : Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Analytical Thinker : Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions
  • Results-Driven : Committed to achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations
  • Team Player : Collaborative and willing to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability : Open to learning about chassis product specifications and manufacturing processes
