Librarian (Queen of Angels - Duncan)

On-call Librarian at

Queen of Angels School in Duncan

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications :

• Library experience in a school setting
• Post-secondary training in a recognized library program including computer technology applications (e.g. Bachelor of Library Science or two-year library diploma program) OR extensive experience working in a library with onsite training
• Knowledge of computer technology applications especially those associated with libraries
• Knowledge of basic library routines and practices
• Ability to maintain basic library systems
• Ability to operate audio-visual equipment normally used in schools
• Ability to communicate with students, staff and parents
• Ability to work well with children, colleagues and administration
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
