Location : Downtown Toronto

Hybrid : 4 days in office, 1 day WFH

We are seeking an Expert Application Developer—a visionary who possesses deep technical mastery and the ability to design, develop, and deliver high-impact software solutions from concept to deployment.

Key Accountabilities : Drive and Deliver

Technical Architecture & Design Authority : Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable solutions that directly address stakeholder needs and adhere to security and architecture standards.

Full Lifecycle Leadership : Own the technical design phases, actively participating in requirements gathering, data modeling, and design sessions to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Development & Innovation : Lead the development, coding, documentation, and execution of unit, system, and integration tests for functions of high complexity. Conceive, design, and test logical structures to solve challenging technical problems.

Quality & Optimization : Perform advanced performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality across multiple systems. Participate in rigorous walkthrough reviews of all technical deliverables.

Coordination & Consulting : Coordinate with Database Analysts to design and modify database structures. Act as a technical consultant, providing expertise on both new and existing technology initiatives to management and development teams.

Knowledge & Experience : The Foundation of Expertise

10+ years of progressive experience in application development.

10+ years of application development experience within the Financial Services industry (a mandatory requirement).

10+ years of comprehensive full development life cycle experience, spanning from architectural design through testing and cross-platform deployment.

As an Expert Application Developer, you will serve as a technical linchpin, leading the development, design, and coordination of critical business applications. You will apply significant independent judgment to deliver cutting-edge software and major improvements to existing systems.
