MaxSys Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Trailer Mechanic for our client in the Saint John area.The hours for this position run Monday-Friday day shift with occasional evenings and Saturdays.Pay rate :
$24-26 / hr + incentives with benefits pending successful completion of probationary period
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers such as engines, power trains, electrical systems, suspension systems, etc.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers and recommend appropriate solutions
- Conduct inspections to ensure trailers are in compliance with safety regulations
- Easily identify parts required for repair
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Complete a variety of reports in an organized and timely manner
- Must be able to perform all levels of maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

The Ideal Candidate will have the following :
- Licensed heavy duty trailer mechanic
- Must have CSA approved steel toe boots and your own tools, other equipment will be provided
- Five years of experience in the field
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Must be comfortable working outdoors
