Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Fast-paced, versatile, clean and professional shop located in St. John's Newfoundland is seeking an equally knowledgeable and organized Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join the team. Compensation

$38.00 – $48.00/hour to start. Benefits available after 90 days include:

Schedule

Day Shift, Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm OR Afternoons. Must be able to be on-call rain, snow or shine.

Requirements

• Valid Red Seal Certification & Driver’s License
  
• Knowledgeable in Caterpillar, Cummins, Komatsu, CASE, Kobelco, John Deere, Hitachi, Terex, etc.
  
• Daily duties include inspections and PM services to full overhauls of Engines, Undercarriage, Hydraulics, A/C, Exhaust, Brakes, Transmissions, etc.
  
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  
• Welding and fabrication
  
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting
