Seeking a kind, experienced and reliable nanny for our 5 month old son starting immediately / January.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infant care, knowledge about child development and creates a nurturing and happy environment for our son.

Key responsibilities :

Bottle washing, bottle preparation, safely handling breast milk and bottle feeding.

Feeding solids only as directed.

Diaper changing and maintaining baby's hygiene.

Following nap schedules and helping to prepare the baby for nap time.

Monitoring the baby's overall health and well-being and reporting any concerns immediately.

Tracking baby’s daily activities using an app.

Engaging in age appropriate activities to encourage sensory, cognitive and physical development.

Reading, singing and playing with the baby to foster early learning.

Providing daily reports of baby’s activities and developmental milestones through verbal feedback, app tracking and daily log sheet.

Cleaning, organizing and maintaining baby’s toys and play area.

Washing pump parts and sanitarily assembling breast pump in preparation for use.

Washing, folding and organizing baby’s laundry.

Ensuring a safe environment for the baby at all times.

Administering basic first aid if needed and knowing how to respond in emergencies.

Collaborating with parents to ensure consistency in care and routines.

Qualifications :

Proven experience caring for infants (minimum of 2 years preferred).

Certification in Infant CPR and First Aid.

Can legally work in Canada.

French speaking is a plus but not required.

Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and appropriate activities.

Strong references from previous families or childcare positions.

Reliable, punctual and committed to providing consistent childcare.

Non-smoker and comfortable working in a smoke-free environment.

Comfortable with being monitored via cameras while caring for the baby.

Amenable to a flexible schedule that may change on short notice.

Willing to complete small errands if needed.

Patient and warm demeanor.

Adaptable to our family’s needs.
