Directeur commercial, Foresterie (Est)/Director of Sales - Forestry (East)

Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Forestry for the Quebec and Atlantic region. This position is responsible for increasing share of market of new forestry equipment sales while providing guidance on the valuations of used equipment coming into inventory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
• Achieve asset management goals of turnover and aging, as well as protection of company assets, including new and used merchandise inventory.
• Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products and give detailed feedback and forecasts for inventory levels to meet sales and market share goals.
• Provide feedback on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
• Fully understand, promote, and sell the telematics and machine monitoring capabilities that differentiate Brandt and John Deere offerings.
• Assist in evaluating competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to drive market intelligence, increase market share and margins within the area of responsibility.
• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing programs in the forestry sector.
• Travel and interact with customers and Brandt team members on job sites, providing mentorship and guidance on sales strategy, product features, and tactics to address challenges.
• Assist in the development of all employees within the area of responsibility to build a knowledgeable, motivated and successful team focused on long-term success for the company and customers.
• Manage duties, assignments, and expenses of corporate product managers assigned to the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with branch sales teams to build relationships with mill yard customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, customer organization charts and understand market challenges and opportunities.
• Provide feedback to Brandt Engineered Products to assist in the invention and development of attachments and products to increase Brandt’s opportunities in this business segment.
• Participate in Brandt/Deere DAG/CAG initiatives as required.
• Fluent in both English and French.
• Other projects as assigned.

• Strategic sales planning and multi-level account development experience.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Willingness to participate in company initiatives and adapt to changing priorities.
