Key Responsibilities :
Design and Development :
- Develop detailed engineering designs and drawings for power generation systems and components.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure designs meet all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Manage design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and safety departments.
- Prepare project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations.
Technical Support :
Provide technical support during the construction, installation, and commissioning of systems.Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.Review and approve technical documentation from contractors and vendors.Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or I&C Engineering field.Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain.Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design within the power generation or related industry.Experience with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
