Intermediate Property Adjuster, Full-Time, HYBRID (Windsor, ON) — ClaimsPro LP
We have an existing opportunity to add an Intermediate Property Claims Adjuster to our team. You will work in a Hybrid based environment supporting field requests within the Windsor / Chatam area.
Responsibilities
- Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.
- Investigate the cause and report to clients with solid recommendations.
- Use supplied technology (e.g., DocuSketch) to scope and establish quantum of damages.
- Identify exposures, recommend reserves, determine necessary investigations, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients and the insured throughout the claims process.
- Participate and share ownership for afterhours customer service requirements when required.
- Perform duties in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).At least 3 years of relevant experience in claims adjusting.Ongoing commitment to education and learning; adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation.Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics.Able to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.Excellent communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating; ability to flex style to audience.Proactive and positive approach to customer service, ensuring inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.Strong interpersonal skills for effectively handling conflict and difficult situations.Why join ClaimsPro?
