Summer 2026 Developer (3 months)

Position Description :

CGI is looking for enthusiastic and talented students for Developer Intern position for Summer 2026. As an intern you will be called upon to support our business units and help deliver excellent service to our clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase a strong academic background combined with an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for working closely with CGI leaders.

To foster collaboration and partnership with clients interns will be required to work on-site several times per week.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32 / hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Understand client needs and system specifications applications.

applications and components according to standard methodologies established by the team.

Write functional and technical process documentation for developed solutions.

Ensure quality programming by performing thorough testing applications.

Review peer code and suggest improvements to optimize performance and code quality.

Contribute to managing and updating the teams technical knowledge library.

Build and applications in non-production environments and / or develop automation scripts for code deployments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Must be a student in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of C# and framework.

Knowledge of web production technologies (HTML MVC CSS JavaScript JSON XML).

Experience in drafting specifications programming testing debugging detailed descriptions and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of programs.

Experience in object-oriented design and user interface development.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently.

Good oral and written French skills required for this position.
