The Program Assistant III provides office support for the Resident Care Manager (RCM) and Resident Care Supervisors (RCSs). Participating in the day-to-day operations of the office by responding to general inquiries; monitoring and triaging incoming correspondence; preparing a wide variety of documents including correspondence for employees, families, managers and residents / patients in various formats, letters, reports and presentations.Prepare all documentation for RCM and RCSs as required and manages conflicting priorities. Assist with booking Access-A-Ride for residents. Complete lab requisitions weekly (on Mondays). Facilitates admissions, discharges and transfers for the site, including collection of Connect Care information and any information outside of Connect Care and contact families. Maintain office organization system including paper and electronic filing system, in collaboration with Administrative Assistant.Please note : Classifications Under Review.

The Program Assistant III provides a wide range of clerical support. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE St. Therese Villa Collective Agreement.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications :
At least 1-2 years of related experience is required.3 years of recent experience in a secretarial position or equivalent required.Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software, proficiency in typing and intricate formatting skills required.Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Connect Care unit clerk training an asset.
