Key Account Manager - Western Canada (Grocery & Distribution) We are recruiting on behalf of an emerging premium non-alcoholic beverage company experiencing rapid growth across Canada. With strong momentum in retail and distribution, the organization is investing in experienced commercial talent to accelerate expansion across Western Canada's grocery and distribution landscape.
The company is now seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with major grocery retailers and distribution partners, including Pattison Food Group and regional distribution networks. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who understands how to grow brands within grocery and retail channels, build strong buyer relationships, and execute programs that translate into measurable sales growth.
Based in Greater Vancouver, this role will collaborate closely with marketing, field activation, and distribution partners to ensure strong execution both at head office and in-store.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:- Manage and grow key grocery and distribution partnerships across Western Canada, including Pattison Food Group banners and regional distribution partners
- Lead head office buyer relationships, annual planning, promotional programming, and assortment expansion discussions
- Develop and execute account plans that drive distribution gains, promotional success, and sustainable sales growth
- Partner with marketing and field teams to ensure strong in-store execution and retail activation support
- Analyze sales performance, distribution trends, and promotional results to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with distributor partners to ensure alignment on inventory, forecasting, and regional sales execution
- Support new product launches and expansion initiatives within key accounts
- Represent the brand at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
You should have the following in your background to be successful:- Proven experience managing grocery retail accounts or distribution partners within beverage, food, or CPG environments
- Demonstrated success growing sales within Western Canadian grocery channels
- Strong buyer relationship management and negotiation skills
- Experience working with distribution partners and managing regional sales execution
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into commercial strategy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple account priorities
- Willingness to travel within Western Canada as required
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-growing, scaling brand environment
