The successful candidate

will be highly professional, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong technology skills. They should also be able to commit to working from 8 : 15am to 3 : 45pm, Monday through Friday.

Language English Mandarin is an asset Salary 49,400 annually / 37.5 hours per Week Responsibilities Key responsibilities for the full-time International Liaison Officer will be wide in scope and will include many different tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to : - Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met- Carry out administrative activities of establishment- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures- Resolve conflict situations- Monitor and evaluate- Co-ordinate administrative services- Coordinate cultural events at the school- Assist students in preparing for the Chinese Language Equivalency Assessment and administer exams- Coordinate educational trips for Chinese language and cultural studies- Arrange visits by teachers from our sister school in China- Organize summer exchange programs- Develop the school's collaborations in China that are of benefit to the Chinese language and cultural program at school Education Bachelor's degree Experience 7 months to less than 1 year Skills Effective communication skillsAbility to handle highly confidential informationExcellent English written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to make sound judgement and decisionsProven attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively independently or in teams giving and taking directionSelf-starter who is able to set priorities and meet deadlines Benefits Health benefitsDental planHealth care planFinancial benefitsLife insuranceRegistered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Work Location 13212 - 106 Ave, Edmonton, AB T5N 1A3 Terms of employment Permanent / Full time
