Recruitment responsibilities:
- Partner with the Account Manager to understand the client hiring requirements and successfully place candidates
- Take a multi-channel approach towards candidate sourcing with emphasis on headhunting (creative & social sourcing, online and offline events, job fairs, and direct sourcing)
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer negotiations.
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
- Conduct pre-screening and interviews of potential candidates to determine if they are a match for the client environment and technical needs
- Identify leads and opportunities through reference checking and networking
- Maintain relationships with Brunel contractors and permanent placements throughout their career
- Work diligently to retain contractors once their assignment is complete
- Utilize network to obtain industry referrals
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in recruiting, ideally with a staffing agency
- Completion of post-secondary education
- Ability to form instant and long-lasting relationships
- Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to join industry networks and promote Brunel
- Confident and driven: ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Competitive personality and a desire to work in a team environment
- Aptitude to learn and understand industry terms and concepts
- Ability to handle pressure and deal with all levels of staff, contractors, and clients
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organization skills
- Collaborative, empathetic, authentic, reliable and disciplined
