Sourcing Manager

Randstad is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Sourcing to join our client's Global Procurement team in Toronto. or Vancouver. This is a 10-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Position: Sourcing Manager
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Location: Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BC

Standard: 8-4, 7.5 hours daily, 37.50 weekly
Hybrid mode- 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Responsibilities
Working with the Director, Global Procurement – Functions, this role will:
 Communicate with internal stakeholders via emails, instant messaging, via video call or in-person meeting to discuss business requirements and sourcing project updates
 Coordinate sourcing activities with suppliers, including but not limited to RFPs
 Negotiate contract terms and pricing with Suppliers
 Coordinate contributions from various Centers of Governance
 Coordinate internal parties and suppliers to review and align on potential contract gaps
 Analyze opportunities and recommend sourcing
strategies/optimal course of action in compliance with company policies and processes
 Reporting and administrative activities in connection with contract and sourcing initiatives.

Qualifications
Must have:
 Experience in leading RFPs
 Experience negotiating and drafting contracts with minimal support from legal counsels
Soft skills are key especially:
o Storytelling and executive level communication management skills

Nice to have:
7+ years’ experience in Procurement roles
Knowledge of the management consulting and software categories
